Sports Components is a company focussed on developing diving products using new designs and innovative materials.
Based in the Brecon Beacons, the company is staffed entirely by experienced divers, all having worked extensively in the diving industry, totalling more than 35 years experience.
Sports Components began designing products in 2002, became a Limited company in 2004 and brought our first product to market in October 2005.
We have spent nearly three years developing a new inflation and exhaust valve system for drysuits. These are now available for sale under our own brand and will also be appearing branded for other manufacturers for use in their drysuits.
We have built our business on the principle of controlled overheads so all products can be sold at a healthy retail price – the traditional route of selling, with each link in the chain marking the price up, have been avoided.
We also realise the advantages of retailing a full range of products beyond those we manufacture ourselves. For our online shop, we have become an official dealer for Northern Diver products and also GEW (Watersports). We are currently negotiating with other manfacturers to sell selected products. Our low-overhead approach will ensure all our prices remain very low.
We have several projects currently under development which will be revealed as they become available in the press and on this website.
